About the Pro Arte Chorale of Northwest Florida

The Pro Arte Chorale of Northwest Florida was formed in 2007 by singers from the Florida panhandle who had sung together with other area orchestras and choral groups and were seeking an the opportunity to perform and present to the public high-quality choral music. The current roster includes singers from Bay, Walton, and Okaloosa Counties.

The Chorale presents two sets of three concerts each season, in the fall and spring, at a variety of venues including Panama City, Santa Rosa Beach, and Ft. Walton Beach. It rehearses at The Community Church in Santa Rosa Beach, FL on Saturday mornings from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, beginning in late August for the fall concert and resuming in January for the spring concert. Singers are committed to working hard to prepare beautiful and professional performances of classical and secular works which span the centuries. The Chorale is a Florida non-profit corporation.  Its mission is to support public awareness of and excellence in the choral arts by:

  • Presenting choral performances of distinction
  • Fostering the musical growth of its membership
  • Contributing to the increased knowledge and appreciation of choral music in Northwest Florida
  • Providing an example of the life-long benefits of high quality music in the development of well-rounded, contributing members of society.
