March-April, 2010

The Chorale has enjoyed preparing the repertoire for it's upcoming performances (see below.) The time spent rehearsing the music and becoming familiar with its subtleties has deepened our understanding of the poetry, as one informs the experience of the other.  We look forward to sharing this experience with our audience.

January-February, 2010

The Chorale started the New Year by beginning preparations for it's April performances of Randall Thompson's lush and poignant "Frostiana" and George Shearing's jazzy "Songs and Sonnets of Shakespeare."  Titled "Poetry in Song," the concert features some of the most beautiful poems in the English language set perfectly to music by two of America's most famous contemporary composers.

November-December 2009

Members of the Chorale entertained shoppers at Sandestin's Grand Boulevard with holiday caroling on the four Friday evenings between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

November, 2009

The Chorale performed it's fall concert on three dates in three locations:  November 14 in Panama City, November 15 in Santa Rosa Beach, and November 19 in Ft. Walton Beach. 

September, 2009

In preparation for its Fall, 2009 concert series, the Chorale held an all-day workshop on September 19, 2009 with noted choral clinicians Dr. Brenda Smith and Ron Burrichter.  Read more about it on the 2009 Workshop page.
